Refund & Exchange Policy

At melo, we want you to feel confident choosing your shade, size and style. Because our products are intimate skin-contact items, we also have to be careful with hygiene and safety.

Please read the policy below before requesting a return or exchange.

UK exchanges

We currently offer exchanges for UK orders where the item is:

  • Unused
  • Unworn
  • Unopened
  • In its original sealed packaging
  • Returned with proof of purchase

Exchange requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.

Once your exchange request has been approved, we’ll send you return instructions by email. Returned items must be posted within 10 days of approval.

After your item has been received and inspected, we’ll send out your exchange item.

Please note:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Exchange items cannot be returned or exchanged again.
  • Opened or used nipple covers cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons.
  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

UK returns

Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Once your return has been approved, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused
  • Unworn
  • Unopened
  • In its original sealed packaging
  • In original condition
  • Returned with proof of purchase

Because melo products are intimate skin-contact items, we cannot accept returns for any nipple covers that have been opened, tried on, used, or removed from their hygiene seal, unless the product is faulty.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method.

Please note:

  • Original express shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.
  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

International returns & exchanges

At this time, we do not offer international exchanges.

International returns may be accepted only if the item is:

  • Unused
  • Unworn
  • Unopened
  • In its original sealed packaging
  • Returned within the applicable return window

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, customs charges, duties and any import fees related to returning the item, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

EU customers: right of withdrawal

If you are based in the European Union, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us within the 14-day period at care@lovemelo.com.

After notifying us, you must return the item within 14 days. For hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to sealed intimate products once they have been opened after delivery, unless the product is faulty. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at care@lovemelo.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

If the issue is approved, we’ll offer a replacement, exchange or refund. Please do not use or dispose of the item before contacting us, as we may need photos or further information to process your request.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible at care@lovemelo.com.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we’ll cancel it and refund your original payment method. If your order has already been dispatched, you’ll need to follow the returns process once it arrives.

Refund timing

Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Typical refund timings:

  • Order cancellations: 3–5 business days after cancellation is processed
  • Approved returns: 5–7 business days after inspection
  • Partial refunds or order adjustments: 3–7 business days

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund on your statement.

Items we cannot accept

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Opened nipple covers
  • Used or worn nipple covers
  • Items removed from their hygiene seal
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Items damaged through misuse or improper care
  • Returns requested outside the return window
  • Exchange items that have already been exchanged once

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty.

How to start a return or exchange

Please email care@lovemelo.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • The item you would like to return or exchange
  • The reason for your request
  • Photos, if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect

We’ll reply with the next steps. Please do not send items back before your return or exchange has been approved.
